nohup

Welcome to nohup — a blog focused on Kubernetes, digital security, NixOS, infrastructure automation, and modern DevOps practices.

I bring more than two decades of experience in infrastructure management, from operating traditional data centers to building cloud-native environments. My interests center on Kubernetes, NixOS, automation, information security, and open-source technologies that reshape how we approach systems and operations.

Why the name “nohup”?

The name comes from the Unix command:

This command ensures that processes continue running even after disconnection. It reflects the theme of this blog—resilient, persistent infrastructure designed to keep working independently of external conditions.

What to expect

Here I share lessons learned from both professional practice and personal projects, with an emphasis on practical takeaways and solutions that can be applied in real-world scenarios.
